Romanian partners visited the Hungarian Meadow Viper Center

János Botond Kiss, the well known ornithologist, and his assistant Mihai Marinov – colleagues of the Romanian Danube-Delta Institute for Research and Development -  visited the Hungarian Meadow Viper Centre in early April. So far our decade-long cooperation with the two scientists was focusing on the monitoring of Moldavian meadow viper (Vipera ursinii moldavica), therefore it was a great pleasure for us to introduce our conservation program on site. In this cooperation, sharing our experiences in connection with the use of artificial burrows, and habitat management, has opened new horizons.
