President in the Viper-Centre

As last stop in a series of visits to emblematic places, under the slogan „Landscape and people, keeping values in Hungary”, László Sólyom, President of Hungary was staying in Kiskunság National Park for 3-days. On the first afternoon of this trip he visited the Hungarian Meadow Viper Conservation Centre. After arrival to the Conservation Centre, first Csaba Vadász shortly presented natural values of neighbouring area, followed by Tamás Péchy, who introduced the species and our conservation actions. Later the President helped installing an artificial burrow, and as an opening he reintroduced 2 vipers, formally starting reintroduction of the species.
