On World Animal Day we presented our species conservation program in several locations: in Budapest Zoo and in Szeged Game Park.
At Budapest Zoo with the help of puzzles, quizzes and our mobile exhibition those interested could get a closer look not only the Hungarian meadow viper, but also the amphibian and reptile species of Hungary.
On Sunday, in Szeged Zoo, the Hungarian meadow vipers living here were measured and health-checked in front of visitors. The special event was met with great interest: during the presentation, Bálint Halpern told about the species, and the ones who were brave enough could also touch the snakes and got a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
